Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Home from Home in the Gateway to the Dales was nothing short of delightful. The very comfortable bed provided the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploration, while the well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. I particularly appreciated the good shower that left me feeling refreshed; a small luxury that makes all the difference. The location is superb, just a stone's throw from Skipton Castle and the charming town center, yet tucked away enough to enjoy the tranquility of the garden patio. Having access to free Wi-Fi and Netflix was a lovely touch, allowing for cozy evenings in after our outdoor adventures. Harvesting moments of relaxation, while sipping a cup of tea on the terrace, felt like pure bliss. With Leeds Bradford International Airport just 30 km away, this lovely little house is a perfect base for exploring the scenic Dales and immersing oneself in local culture. I highly recommend this spot for its comfort and convenience, whether you're traveling solo or with a group of friends.
